Internet Relay Chat
Ah... where to begin. It all
started several years ago, before I had any type of internet access at
all. My friend would tease me with all sorts of information he would get
from the chat lines and I pressed him constantly to find the news that
spurteth forth from them. And yes you can take this how you will anyway.
The first thing I did when I got on the net was to download something called
mIRC Its a wonderful tool to use to
talk to people all over the globe. IRC servers are located everywhere just
about. You can go to Undernet
to find a list of Undernet servers or you can go to DalNet
to find a list of DalNet servers.
Once you have downloaded
and installed mIRC, connect to a server. Preferably and Undernet server
since that is where I usually hang out. You can find me at #clubchat
, the aforementiond #wicca, #wiccan, #elvenkind, #club-hottub, and thats
just the tip of the iceberg.
